Photographers looking to save space on their memory cards should consider capturing in TIFF format. Even though RAW format provides a better picture quality. this is not as noticeable when it comes to some of the more standard photo sizes like 4 by 6 and 8 by 10. Consider taking the photos you will be blowing up to larger than normal size in RAW and then change over to TIFF so you have more space to capture even more pictures.
While the TIFF format is excellent for printed media. it is not the best suited for use online or with digital media.
